New Member - Looking for Florida events

    Finally got my first Ferrari - a 2001 550 Maranello. I am from Fredericton, NB, Canada, but we are in Florida for the winter. I would appreciate any info on Florida Ferrari events and/or track events.

    Peter, pretty quiet in here this week as our spiritual leader, Martin is on vacation.

    There are a lot of track events taking place all over Florida through the Winter and Spring months. The first major Ferrari event, of course, is
    Cavallino at Moroso and around Palm Beach in January. Everyone attends Cavallino so even if you dont take part in the track event, there are a lot of people to meet and parties to attend all over Palm Beach during the week.

    There are track clubs which hold great events at Sebring, Moroso and
    Homestead and the best thing to do is check their websites for dates and
    details. These are low pressure events, none of the social aspects the you have with the other clubs.

    These track clubs include SAFE, Performance Driving Club and Steve Chin motorsports. The FCA Florida Region will have their traditional spring
    track event at Sebring in April.

    Where are you? Florida is like a days drive from one end to the other. Anywhere near Tampa/Clearwater?

    I get up there about once a week. I like the Arby's at the corner of Curlew for a quick bite. Wanna meet up there one night for a bite? Maybe we could then take a little cruise.

    I am in Port Saint Lucie, but not adverse to travelling. Hopefully I will meet some of you folks sooner or later.

    Sebring with SAFE on the 13th of Dec. I will be there. Also looks good that I will make it to the Monday night dinner in Sarasota tomorrow. I need to pick up my new trailler in Tampa and try to sucker Paul into picking it up for me then tomorrow I drive up there and meet the Sarasota crowd.

    got to take a rain check on the lunch. picked up the trailer from Paul. He was nice enough to pick it up in New Port Richy and drive it down to Sarasota. ...okay, so he charged me $1000 but what the hell I saved 1 hour drive :)

    How about Sebring Sat Dec 13 with SAFE? I will be there.

    Sindo....we got to arrange a dinner like they have in Sarasota. It was so much fun.
