    My '74 GTS has a polished aluminum firewall but I don't think all Dino's had this. I have a 5000 serial number GT that I am redoing that shows no signs of having the aluminum shield. Can anyone corroborate this?

    can you post a pic of what you are calling the "polished aluminum firewall"?

    My 73 GTS also has a polish firewall shield
