I think that is one of those mega-hp boxers; perhaps a Norwood? I've seen them flared like that before.

Not to mention those tail pipes sticking out are as big as the original bodywork would allow!

The owner probably had all of the grills painted black when the rear flares were done.

Yes, this Boxer is registerd in Germany. I have seen it a couple of times in real life. It is a well known car for some of us as it shows up on many Ferrari events, like the Spa Ferrari Days. All black with a brown interior.
I believe (have read it somewhere) that the wider wheels and wheelarches could be ordered on request at the factory. There are more cars like this one around but not many.

That's the first Boxer "spider" I've ever seen. Looking at the rear shot, it appears that the exhaust pipes are attached directly to the headers, with no mufflers. Now that would be LOUD!

The black Boxer in this thread is 45735 (plates HA DN 512) owned by Werner Ruping. I believe these are Koenig rear flairs; aftermarket only. Flairs were not available from the factory.

The red Boxer Spider is quite a mystery. None of my regular sources who were there could get the Telaio (serial number). It was removed from the steering column. I have even e-mailed the software company whose decal is on the bonnet; no reply.

Any information on this vehicle would be appreciated.

    Ciao.
