    I have this very picture hanging in my office. This is Eugenio Castelloti subbing for the Marquis De Portago in 1956. Another thing to note in the picture is the lady on the far left with the stopwatch. This is Adrianna; Fangio's long time lady friend (they were never married and split up later).

    Slight correction: That is Portago jumping into Castellotti's car. Castellotti had spun and damaged the car, Portago had earlier pulled out of the race to let Collins take over his car. Portago was blackflagged at the end (a wheel was about to fall off) and he pushed the car over the finish line in 10th place. This was the 1956 British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
