88 328 manual window

I have a 88 328 and do not have an area on the inside of the door to raise or lower the window in case of power failure. My 308 had this and some earlier 328's. Does anyone have a 88 or 89 328 and do you have an area in which to raise or lower the window? There is a possibility that the previous owner recovered the door panels

I have seen them on 86-87 328s but not on 88 or 89. I just wanted to make sure the previous owner did not re-cover the doors.
