That car is awesome. But the Ferrari looks classier, the SLR is a phallic rocket. I do like the side pipes though.
I am sure the car will be a rocket, but the looks just do not turn me on. I almost feel bad for the SLR, as anythign following the McLaren F1 has huge shoes to fill.

I dont think the SLR looks that great. It looked better in that issue of Car and Driver magazine that first featured the car 2-3 years ago.
I think the back looks awesome and the nose looks hideous. Too bad they are puttingit on the new SLK too.
I'm telling you guys... the front is ******. McLaren/Mercedes tried to make it F1 like Ferrari did with the Enzo but their car just came out as a blown (well, supercharged technically...) man-unit with wheels. With that said, I still think it looks cool in black especially if they remove that blasted star on the front end. If it's reliable like most Benz cars are then that would be the ultimate daily driver... and you'll get a supercar out of it too! Two birds with one stone!
Yesterday I was leaving Law school in my 93 Vette roadster, stopped by to speak w some frineds & 1 woman says "your car is a lot longer than I thought" & of course there it started, a guy said its wider too, I said it moves well, lots of power

Something happened between concept and production which turned me off. The production car just dsnt look fluid and graceful - kind of a mess infact. The concept is gorgeous IMHO.
