    Leave tommorow for 2 weeks! Ill be in Scottsdale, South Florida, where ill have a 360 Spider for 2 weeks, and then Beverly Hills. While in South Florida i may have the opportunity to drive the first Koenigsegg in the States, as my buddy will be doing the EPA work to make them legal. Bought a new digital camera so ill take lots of pics and video!

    Take the video camera! This thread is useless without VIDEO! I guess pictures would be OK.. this time. :D

    How long will you be in CA for? On the weekend? You could make Crystal Cove if its a Sat and your not adverse to getting up at 6-7am to get ready.

    The Top Gear video shows the door sequence. It comes out and pivots 90 degrees forward, coming to a rest on its own with a gentle push. Its awesome.

    What a lucky treat for you. I cannot wait to hear your remarks about the Koenigsegg. I did not even know that any were coming to the States. How many did they actually product before the factory burned down?

    LOL! I wish they had a Gallardo for rent!

    They`re called Dihedral Synchro-Helix Door Actuation.

    Here's the Koenigsegg hinge mechanisms...they make the door extend outwards as it rotates upwards. As long as you are not next to a high sidwalk, it works well.
