Interesting, first things Ferrari owners notice about other cars are the wheels and not the 6 liter some 700ish hp engines..
lmao vraa! i did read that the 700ish HP is limited by the tranny. wait until the new tranny comes in btw living in los angeles, these cars are dime a dozen. you need somethign special to stand out (like a fly yellow f355) hehe
The in car picture of the driver looking at the computer screen, take a look at the speedo. It must be registering 200mph.
uh... **** me stupid. Gimmie the one with a roll cage and put in a 6-speed stick and I'll take it! Oh, take the 500lbs of ASR/RSR/DSC/BULL/POON with you. Best! Ben.
Why do they even bother putting those cars on the track, I doubt even 1% will ever see one- they're too heavy and automatic .
those cars are stupid.. 612 hp in an Auto Benz ? its heavier than a boat so it will never be a good track car and who needs 612 hp on the streets when 500 hp are already too much ?
Tell me I didn't hear that. That's the last thing I'm supposed to hear from someone that drives a car OTHER than a kia or something. You can never have too much power.
Untrue- I love tons of HP but whats the point of it if you're not using it where it matters- no one uses more then 300hp on the street for any legal reason, once you approach 250hp in a car, your car should be used on the track- 612hp is not streetable.
I don't think that's anywhere near the intent of this car like you've said before. I apoligize for I jumped the gun a tad bit early. Most of the demographic buying this car are buying it because it says Mercedes, and they have an ego. I can't blame them, that's one of the reasons why I want this car!
This is a very special MB!!! There is an article in either EVO or Top Gear, for the month of November, I forget which one it was in though. They give you a complete run down of the car. There is even mention in the article that there is so much power that the engine produces that the tranny is not the proper match for it so they had to electronicly limit the engine so as not to tear the tranny out. It was a nice article to read it was like 4 pages I think. So go check it out, its worth reading about!!! ~Mike P.
