Winter is coming, and I was just curious: what do you guys drive when the snow starts to fall?
My 95 Buick Skylark. I received it last year with 4927 original miles on the clock from my great aunt(80+) who couldn't quite get it in and out of her garage. Year later and it has 23,xxx on it now
NO PAT...MINE IS A 03.........THOSE ARE THE 04.........MAYBE NEXT YEAR AT AUGUSTINES DEALERSHIP........
ITS NOT BAD AT ALL...I HAVE HAD 3 GRAND JEEP CHEROKEES FOR THE PAST 10 YS......JUST GOT BORED.........
By the way, I'm taking an '02 Grand Cherokee Limited home for the weekend. It really handles well in this crap weather.
'03 mercedes e320 '04 bmw 330xi snow hit NJ hard today... infact was gonna take delivery of the bmw today... bought it over thanksgiving expecting a nasty winter... lo and behold... atleast my dog is having a good time though
AUGDOG - You said it!! I've had 3 cherokees (an '87 Laredo, a '94 Sport, and currently a '95 Sport). They certainly do handle the snow & crappy conditions very well!! Better than my brother's '95 Pathloser... My '95 has 105k miles on it, and when it dies, I'll shoot down to Atlantic City and get another one from you!!!
Yukon, and I was still sliding around all day. Much better than the M5 though, with S03's that thing is just scary in the snow.
'03 Land Rover Discovery. Super capability in the snow. Getting hit this weekend with the white stuff...
I will agree 100% on the JEEP CHEROKEES in the winter. We sold our 96 for our Soccer Mom minivan (Don't worry Gus we stayed in the Chrsyler Family with a Town and Country LXI loaded out to the max)
94 Toyota 4x4 for me. I've had her the last six years and she is a real trooper. Winters are really tough on vehicles up here in Vt. I also drive a 2003 yamaha sx600r snowmobile when we get enough of the white stuff.
Well, the Mrs. will be driving her 03 Discovery, As for me, it's the 6000lb snow mobile.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
If I can ever get the repaired fuel tank reinstalled, I will have my 1980 International Scout Terra pick-up with 4WD capability this winter. But there always seems to be something else to fix that the previous owners (butchers) decided to "improve".
this winter it'll be a Mercedes Benz 2003 S55. she gets her snow shoes (Pirelli 240 SnowSports) put on next week (a week late though, considering that the first real snow starts here in boston within a few hours). doody.
you mean that there are places that you dont have to drive TO the snow??? It comes to you???? Damn California SUCKS!! ME= 99 Cobra once it is out of the F'n Shop, then selling it for a new toy. 4wd for all those trips to the snow...
Hm.... Arizona, no snow where I'm at! But we will be in a 98accord, 93 cherokee sport, and an excursion. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The Scuderia Sebring GT 2+2 Cabriolet Speciale is a year-round vehicle... Upon 'badging', pictures will follow...
