In Australia, there's a rumour that the Stradale will become limited ed car - and that there will be no more orders accepted for 2004 delivery. Anyone confirm this in North America? Just heard this today - hot off the press.
We had been told/understood that it was a general model with no limites. So does that mean that there are now 900 orders around the world I wonder!
So does that mean that Maranello has suddenly sold all it's allocation Syd? Last I heard, there were cars still available. Most of the allocation in fact!
It's hard to know who to believe. I know our local dealer has always had an allocation of 2 for this calendar year. He told me that if you want one, then there's only 1 left as they will not be able to get any Stradales after this year. Standard 360s only.
my understanding all along was about 900 units. i was under the impression that it was not a limited edition per se, but that that's all they could build between the start of production and whenever the 360 line shuts down for retooling for the 360 replacement. doody.
That was the first shipment for 2003, but it was available until the end of model run as I understood.
Agree with Doody - UK concessionaire is now taking deposits for RHD 360 replacement. Coupe in 2005 and spider in 2006
i was told by my dealer a month or two back that they were going to continue making 360 coupes, though he wasn't 100% sure what the breakout would be. it sounded like they were going to focus on CS (obviously) and push out more spiders. the issue was more so stick coupes - the thought was that f1 coupes would be plentiful. so who knows doody.
?? The new model is being delivered to customers... so, I'd say that ALL the specs are pretty concrete.
Dan - Not saying you're wrong, because I have no inside information, but Ferrari of San Francisco is still selling 360 Modenas for delivery next summer. Gary
