WTF...? i took the whole damn test and then i had to repeatedly enter the information in at the end... Over and over, wtf...? That was annoying... Is that an indication of how smart i am (or just the opposite)...? i feel like an idiot...

135 on both tests (after two Asahi drys I might add). Is it possible to be both a visionary philosopher and a visual mathematicial? I scored a 147 in the 4th grade and a 157 in the 6th. I guess I drank too much in college. Oh well, I've got the Ph.D.

I don't know if its just age. Beer consumption for me went up after that point in life. Mind you it was better beer.

I'd like to think that I am still learning, maybe just not as fast as I did in school. In fact, I learned the proper Manderin response to a beggar last Friday night on Nanjing Road: Qu gongzuo!

    Ah, the lessons continue.

    No "maximum" score is indicated.

According to Tickle's Classic IQ Test:

    - A score between 70 and 84 places you below the population average
    - 85 - 99 is slightly below the population average, but is in the normal range .
    - 100 represents the population average
    - 101 - 115 is above the population average, but is in the normal range
    - 116 - 130 means that your IQ might be significantly above the population average
    - 130 and above puts you significantly above the population average

147 = Intuitive Investigator. Only 6 out of 1,000 people have this rare combination of abilities, unlike you mere mortals *ducks* :p.
darth & I are in L.A. & have 147. It must be the water, er sludge, er watery sludge.

Do a search for the "Spatial IQ Test" on google and take.

It'll warp your brain. I took the emode one a while ago - don't remember the score. I think I got 62 or something.

From the 2nd test? Got that as well with 143 (these tests are biased for americans I tell you)

You omitted the more interesting part:

"The way you think about things makes you an Intuitive Investigator. This means you have multiple talents
and can do anything you set your mind to. "

I think I had my engineers hat on for some of them. Some of the questions I thought were ill-posed. Still scored over 130, but some of the questions could have been posed better.

the scary thing that tests like this point out is, by definition, for the average to be 100, for every one above there must be one equally below. in other words, half the people we come in contact with are fricking idiots.

wspeer- I'd say more than half...

Though aparently I'm one of them, because the stupid site actually looks at the bogus data you give in those forms... and since I breezed through the data, I entered a very recent birthdate.

Well, after ASKING for my name, address, e-mail, etc. emode issued a snotty little:

"You should never give out your real name, e-mail address, street address, phone number, or any other private details about yourself — to us or anyone else."

Reminds me of the time I was 19 years old, owned two corporations, and still couldn't rent a car.

    Best!
    Ben.

    147. I've lost 20 - 30 points from my 20s. I guess as you get older, you dumb down. No matter, age and guile bet youth and exhuberance (sp) every time.

The last time I took the first test I got a 136. I then a copy of the correct answers and went and took it again. Guess what? 136 again. No matter how fast I took it, even with all the correct answers, I couldn't get the score over 140.

    Art,

I got 147 a few years back but only 136 now. Do you think the alcohol, drugs and sex had anything to do with my diminished mental ability??
