When I bought my ferrari my uncle gave me a ferrari watch. What I dont know about watches could fill a warehouse, but I understand it is a very expensice and nice watch. On the back it says; manufacture speci ia lement pour FERRARI. Under that it says:
    250 GT TdF
    GIRARD PERREGAUX
    serie limiee
    Ref. 8090
    506413
It has the ferrari shield to the right of the face and 3 timers and such to the left. My uncle said its pretty valuable, but I dont know anything about watches. I really like it though.

Even better is the IWC "Scafusia" The most recent one available is going for $395,000.00. But for that $$, you need not set this watch for 200 years (leap years are taken into account....of course!)

Rolex Oyster Perpetual w/jubalee band. Over priced. Over-rated. Needs constant 'tuning'. Just like my F car.

Naaa, I'm with you. Aside from a beater Casio I use when working in harsh environs (Habitat for Humanity etc...), I only wear my Omega Seamaster.

I also have a limited edition leather Tag Heuer Senna that I purchased in Brazil back in 93. Was contemplating a change to the metal band when my wife surprised me with the Omega so I have put it on the shelf except for special occasions.

Beautiful watch, Hubert. Always been an IWC fan. I bought my uncle a rose gold Portuguese 2000 Automatic or whatever with the 7 day reserve.

I am a sucker for nice watches. Here's what I own right now. If I didn't buy it, it's noted where it came from:

    1. Tag Heuer Chronograph (1993) - HS graduation present
    2. Festina Road Warrior (1998) - won in bike race
    3. Festina Chronograph (1999) - won in bike race
    4. Festina Chronograph (2000) - won in bike race
    5. Maurice Lacroix Chronograph carbon/steel (2001) - wedding gift
    6. Michele Chronograph (2003)
    7. Fortis Limited Edition Ducati Corse Ti/Carbon (2003)

The Festinas are the most durable watches that I have. The Fortis is the only automatic watch that I own and it's killer but it's so light that I don't wear it without a dress shirt. The Maurice Lacroix is incredibly nice - the carbon face is well done and I had a special brushed finish applied to it. I wouldn't buy another Michele, I wouldn't buy another Tag. My next watch will probably be an Anonimo.

Here is a pic of the Fortis:

I love that watch! It was a little too steep for me, so I had to settle for the GMT, but I really, really like the seamaster chrono. Big, heavy, battle-proof...

Have you seen the new Speedmaster Profession Chronograph? What a watch....just amazing.

Rennen: how is your breguet XX holding up? My movement is sub-par at best. Seems to be losing almost a minute a week.

Wow - that IWC Cellini Portugese is stunning! The regular Portugese is a favorite of mine. Also love those Blancpain Flybacks. Jimpo - that's a very nice Speedmaster...I've never seen one like it, I'm sure it must be some special edition? More info please :)

I love the Glycine, and saw it in person at Tourneau, but it's HUGE! Same with the IWC Pilot watch with the four chronos in line. Takes a certain person to pull that off.

It's definitely valuable. It's made by Girard Perregaux, and they are really nice.
