I read in MOTOR magazine that 7 Enzo's were bought by Australians even though they can't be registered, anybody know who owns them, and more importantly if they are going to show them in public? and were any of them black?

I think only 3 will land in Australia. Most will remain in Europe to be used as intended.

Lindsay Fox has his one in his collection....red with yellow roof!! (Truck business)

Algadrie may have a black one, I'll try to confirm.

Yeah I know of Lindsay Fox, do you have a pic of his. I'm struggling to imagine an enzo painted like that, not much point if he doesn't show it off, couldn't imagine passing that fox!

Yep. If you look a little more closely you will also notice an F50 and a 288 GTO.

Any idee of the # of the Enzo of the Fox Collection?

If anyone is going to visit the Fox collection, please look for a # and please take a pic of it. Are does someone have a pic of it?

    For you Aussie driver,

Is the steering wheel on the right side (like Japan and England) or on the left side like us in the United States??

The enzo if left hand drive, 99.9+% of cars are right hand drive in australia.

the enzo can't be registered ... only cars older than 1969 can be registered left hand drive, and they must have a sticker 'Caution: Left hand drive' on the rear of their car. Occasionally see a lhd 67 mustang but still pretty rare.

So do they make Enzo with steering wheel on the right??

So far I know they don't. So if there is an ENZO with regular steering wheel (on the left) then the car overthere is good only for display??

Here in the US, the steering wheel is on the left side but the postman (postal service) use the car, made by AM general (same company that manufacture HUMMER) with steering wheel on the right, so they can get into the mail box easily.

Meant to say the enzo IS left hand drive. Look in the pics. ALL enzo's are LHD.

Can't and won't without changing to right hand drive (who would do that?), changes to seatbelts, lights, sometimes tyres and probably a number of other things I can't think of at the moment.

Have to use it at the track I guess :)

You can drive it on the roads in Oz with a club license. But it can't be registered for road use. In W.A. cars over 15 years old can be driven as LHD.

Basically means it can be used for official car club outings and for "test purposes"

Same way the F40's and F50's are driven around in Oz.

I think that Enzo is cool and I don't know why. It just shows this guys pride for his company and the colours I guess. I wouldn't order mine like that but I still think his is cool. *ahhhh* the power of money.

I have driven an enzo at Oran Park in Sydney. It's a rosso corsa and its owned by a private collector. Didnt race it but drove it around nicely. It was only me and the owner out there. The owner is actually my boss. There are four Enzo's i know of in Australia. Theres one in Melbourne which is Rosso with Yellow roof. There is a black one in Melbourne as well aparently and there is two here in Sydney. One Giallo and my Boss's rosso. Not sure about the black one, but im sure about the other three!!

Mr Lindsay's Enzo was on Television here not long ago. About 3 weeks back. It was interesting to hear him speak about the car...

Interviewer.."How much did this car cost?"

Mr.L "I have no idea, but I know it was bloody expensive"

    Interviewer.."How does it go?"

Mr.L "I dont know, I havent even driven it yet"

(Hed owned the car for quite a few months at this point apparently)

Interviewer.."Do owning all of these exotic cars make you happy?"

Mr.L "Friends and family make me happy....cars are just assets that come and go in life...friends and family are the most valuable asset you can have"

    Very interesting man. (and wealthy)
