What do you think (I'm thinking the Ferrari/Scagletti colors)? My guesses would be: Green on red leather White on yellow Gold on gray Brown on black Fly yellow on bordeaux
That green/astroturf 456 was horrid. I've seen pictures of a gold/brown 328, and a brown/brown 328, and those both looked bad in pictures. Oh, I just remembered that 550B that had a leather taillight area. That didn't look so good either.
The silver/seafoam green car is proof that Ferrari was no immune to the effects of the nifty fifties in America. That color scheme is straight out of a 50's Buick Erich
Taunus - holy crap! Look up: "How to make real $100k car look like a kit car" I saw a 348 in the full chameleon paint on eBay and tacky chrome alloys once; I think the buy-it-now was $45k, must have been a repaired/salvage car (for someone to do that to the car).
During my college days in Miami I remember a Fly Yellow 355 Spider that cruised around South Beach all of the time. It had multi-colored poke-a-dots all over it! I don't know if they were stickers or if they were painted on, but it made me cringe everytime I saw it.
I saw a 360 on the line at the factory, that was headed to Japan. It was white outside, gold calipers, maroon dash, seats were maroon and yellow with pink stitching, steering wheel yellow.
This one is pretty ugly, especially the interior! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2447627818&category=6212
Ken, I noticed that car earlier. I am a big fan of the Mondial 3.2 Coupe but I hate the mods that the owner of that car added. The wheels, steering wheel, and shift knob are awful! IMOP. Otherwise it would be a nice car I think.
