What is the best way to learn how the Motronic 2.7 system works on a 348? I haven't spent a lot of time working on EFI but would like to learn especially how to diagnose problems. I know the Bosch 2.7 is very reliable but I just want to learn just in case so that way I am not replacing parts trying to find out what it wrong. Thanks.

Factory WSM is great for theory.

Take a course for ASE certification at your local Community College for troubleshooting skills.

Thanks for the tips. I am mainly interested in diagnosing this particular system. I have experience repairing my own cars and diagnosing issues but not with Motronic EFI systems.

The factory Workshop Manual sucks in a lot of respects, but it does have a very good section on the Motronic system. You can find shop manual reprints on ebay just about any time, or from other sources.
