My first was a '64 250 Lusso bought in 1970. Red/black. Had the car for 30 years. Sold it in 2000 to a Swedish fellow who subsequently put it in the shop for maintenance. The shop burned and, sadly, so did the car.Ken

Is that FOA in your avatar pic (looks like pics they do)? If so, did you buy the car from them?

I got a 1984 308SiQV when I turned 40. I had it for nearly 6 years but a 16 year old kid in a new Mustang ran a stop sign. Allstate Insurance and T. Rutlands got what was left.

I have been looking for 1987-1988 328 but the right one hasn't come along. LIke other things, the first one will always be special.

the only Ferrari I can afford at the moment where I can sit in properly (am 1.98m). The salesman tried to sell me another exotic, but for me it had to be a classic as well as a Ferrari!

    This was my first Ferrari, a 308 GT4, #10438, it was orange/red !
I sold it to a good friend during the .com boom.
I miss it. But then, I miss some aspects of every car I ever ownerd, every woman I ever dated, every city I spent time in...
    :)

My first is a 77 308GTB Rosso Rubino, and while I am now looking, slowly, for a 348 or 355, I will continue to keep the first. I like the sound of that, my "first" Ferrari.

18 years ago a 78 308GTS red/cream. What a car! Sold it and bought a 79 308. Biggest infuence was the love for the car and Magnum PI. Currently looking for a 360 or the right 355.

1968 206GT Dino. Unless, of course you guys don't want to consider the Dino a Ferrari. Bought it in 1983 and still have it. Rebuilt the engine and transmission. Just finished some electrical refurbishing. The sound that little 2 liter makes at 7k just behind your head is wonderful.

No, but I did buy it from John Apen. He was the majority owner of FAF. They just let me take a few pictures of her under their sign last year.

My first was a 330 GT 2+2, single headlight.

I was always a Ferrari nut, and I bought it in the mid 1960s.

I was very young at the time, but able to afford it; guess that's why I bought it. :)

Over the years, I've owned too many F-cars to mention, and am still an owner.

Unfortunately, not the 330 though. It was a great car.

360, because it is the only Ferrari that I have been able to fit in and drive with some level of enjoyment. I am 6-7.

I was in the final stages of starting to build a ERA GT-40, and a car broker down the street had a 01 360 with 300 miles. Could not help myself, still want to build a GT-40 though.

Rob - I went to their place and looked at them about a year ago - very impressed with them. Just curious, what time frame were they giving you on delivering the kit. I inquired about a complete car and they said 2 1/2 years.

    I have a 83 308 QV bought April of 01. Still have it may consider a 360 or 355 in a year.

First F car was a red '77 308GTB, the second a black '89 328GTB. Next one looks like its going to be an early 360 but a friend of mine with a 355 is telling me the 355 was never bettered.

Strangely enough he's trying to sell his car :)

    Simon

The 355 in the picture is the one my mate wants to sell.
Sorry guys, I have to get some new pics of my cars...I've posted this one about 10 times.

    dwhite,

I had a deposit down for about a year, and they told me I was about eight to ten months out. Then I found the 360, and asked for my deposit back. They were very nice about it, but I still want one. I am thinking about sending them a deposit, I do not know what it is about that car. Although about the time my name comes up, the Ford GT will be back down to MSRP.

Ron - thaks for the info. So, it's a long wait for the kit as well. Don't know if the FORD GT will be back to MSRP in 8 months, but it's a nice thought. Guess it will depend on the owners reviews.
