    hello all,

    thanks to all who sent their thoughts regarding my father...i returned home to seattle yesterday and will be flying back to florida with my wife and kids tomorrow...he is comming along well and should be home in 4-5 days

    **sealed the deal on the '79 308GTS in california that i drove before my emergency departure to florida...

    -red/black
    -49k miles..all documents since sold/major service 2 years ago w/47k..all tools books original manual and stamped service manual...new clutch/water pump/rebuilt distributors/rebuilt webers
    -2 sniffer tubes on 1 carburettor broken off and sealed.
    -original paint in excellent condition with some very slight laquer checks on some of the horizontal surfaces...
    - interior excellent
    - leakdown 5% across
    - compression 185-190 across
    -tight tranny and front end
    - no accident damage..no paintwork ever done
    -$22,000

    car will be shipped from santa cruz by friday and here in my garage when i return early january..

    Wow.... those are amazing leakdown and compression test results for an engine with 49K on it!
