This is a Euro Renault Clio Cup car. A half breed race car street legal. It is a two seater with a mid engine. Very strong and stiff. A nice street/race car. Some slicks and you can have some serious fun on the track.

What is as important as what you drove is where you drove it... and how!! Details, man, details!!

Looks like a sweet ride. More appealing than a lot of the econoboxes out now, but probably twice the cost too. LOL.

Yeah I was just thinking that.. where the heck did you get to drive that??? Car and Evo magazine are always raving about that thing, but as far as I know, there aren't any in the US. DETAILS MAN.

Yes, details man! F1 magazine had story on Fernando Alonso where he drove one. It's like the old R5T1/T2. I'd love to get my hand son one.

I have been watching the Renault Clio for a few years via French magazines, and actually saw a red older model this summer in Calais. Great car, I wished they would allow them here in the US for street use and make those ricers eat it.

I looked at it and thought, "Mid-engine...where does it go?" But now I see. That's really cool! :)

WOW !! What a "horny" looking car !! Reminds me of the predecessor R5 race car with the turbo engine that they had over 10 years ago.

Is it here on a show and display exemption deal ?

Must be a riot to blast around in....what it something like that listed at if it was for sale ? I am not a buyer....just curious.

    Hi all!!
Man, I can't believe you rave that car so much...
here it ain't nothing out of the ordinary, especially 'cau it's pretty expensive when compared to some more extreme models (like the Scooby WRX and the Mitsu EVO VII).
But somebody asked for info, so here it is:

    Mid engined, two seater
    3.0 liter V6 engine
300 Nm/3750 RPM of Torque (sorry guys, you have to convert that to pounds/ft)
230 HP @ 6000 RPM (compare that to the Scoobys 265 and the EVO 280) -> But no turbo lag though... :)
    11,4:1 - compression
    injection - BOSCH ME 7,4
    6 speed
Pneus Michelin Pilote Sport FRONT 205/50 ZR 15
Pneus Michelin Pilote Sport REAR 235/45 ZR 17
    ABS BOSCH 5,3
Vented discs in the front 330mm
non vented 300 mm discs in the back
    1335 Kgs
11.3 liters per 100 kms (sorry again guys, have to calculate that to mpg)

    Now.....

    0-100km (62m) in.... 6,4!
    top Speed 235 Km

    Hope this helps...
How, the price... well, as a reference, the Scooby is 35K, and this one almost 50K.... Would you buy it???
The new one will come with 250HP and hopefully a little cheaper, but still... It's a tough crowd to beat!!

    Miguel
