    From previous threads it was my understanding the gear box # was on the passenger side, rear, underside of an '85' euro 308. We had the car in the air today and looked and looked but could not find the number. Am I just blind or what? Any insight would be most helpful.

    The gearbox # on my car, '77 308 GT4, is under the right rear motor mount.
