Sweet! I loved that game. Hopefully there will be different Fcars than just the F50 I saw on the website.

Does anybody know, whether there is an in car perspective to play it or only the camera from the outside following the car?

I'm still playing Project Gotham on my X-box

I love the F50 but never know what perspective to play- camera from the outside following the car? Inside view? Or other views?

Any of you pros have any advice?

It's mainly preference, but heres a little bias..

In everycar game I've played it's easier when your as far out from the car because you can calculate how much tail wiggle you have to drift on the turns. Also you can see people coming up from behind and you can cut them off.

    That video is incredible.

I hope this gets released for XBOX or PS2. It would be worth upgrading the Dreamcast to a new console just for this game.

Sega's videos always look great, remember Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast?

I just hope it's a real game on the xbox and takes full potential of the capabilities.

I've always liked to play from a wide angle so I could look at the car.

But I notice the bumper cam gives me a wider better look at the truns.

The problem I have with Gotham is... its hard to see some of the truns, with all the long grey walls.

I love it. I remember buying the original game when they ported it to the console (it was 8-bit proc then argh!). AM2 makes cutting edge products and it is the division that makes the revenue for Sega. Rumor was the company gave Yu Suzuki (the head of AM2) a Diablo for a bonus eight years ago.

Any car game is easier when played from the outside. But if you're a die hard simmer you want in car perspective only.

So does this game have in car perspective or not?

Yes/no - they call it Front Bumper camera. Makes the turns seem wider, games seems easyer because you can see where to trun.

But, I can't tell how close I am to the wall? Have no feel for sides or width of the car.

Front bumper camera? Oh, c'mon! Who drives their cars sitting on the front bumper?

I guess I'll have to pass on this one, bummer.

Partially accurate - answer is yes, he got the Diablo, but he DEMANDED a humongous bonus because of the string of hits he has consistantly put out. When Sega balked, he threatend to walk. The car was a 'compromise'

    Rest is history.

    Mark,

Project Gotham 2 comes out for Xbox on November 15th and ALSO INCLUDES the Enzo :) Us Project Gotham folks have been "driving" F50's for years :)

BTW, i like Out Run 2 and all, but the graphics are sooooo 1990's. The Xbox Project Gotham totally SMOKES the graphics on that video. Oh, and the Xbox has Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound and HDTV compatible too :)

    Enjoy the Drive,

    Steven R. Rochlin

Bad graphics don't make a good game bad and great graphics don't make a bad game good.

    Steven,

does Project Gotham 2 have a driver's seat perspective or is it all steering from the outside?
