Any of you kids buying a hometheater for the family this Xmas? If so what kind of setup are you looking to do.
Obviously Mr. TVR isn't much of a freak about home theater equipment. If you want top of the line go with View Master equipment.

Anyway thanks. Pete
Damn, Mark, you have me beat again. But I have my eye on something that's still in the prototype stages...maybe it will be out by next year.
If you are a serious audiophile, I highly recommend the addition of a fat man for true bass fidelity:
Here is what you want, the eBay auction ends in 5 days but I suggest you spend the $35 and "buy it now". THOMAS STEREO CASSETTE/8-TRACK COMBINED
Apparently I have a little more $$$ to spend than you fellas this Christmas, I am going all out on an audio system that is fully Dolby 7.1 compatible!
Computer printouts taped to the wall can be an excellent substitute for a flat screen. Want higher resolution? Ditch the cheap dot-matrix stuff and go with laser printouts. Heavy text = black. Use crayons to add a dash of color. Your partner can slide them around if you don't have tape. Now it's not exactly high-definition video, but if you think of it as a static screensaver, it works just fine. Hours of entertainment! No need to tell the neighbors it's not real. Allow them a quick glance through the window, then draw the blinds quickly. Edit: Combine this with the old-socks-for-teabags for a very cheap date.
