I have my 360 CS for about a week with 500 miles on it. I noticed a signifcant different in exhaust note btw race mode & sport mode in that in race mode the exhaust note changes to racing-like after 4000 RPM whereas in sport mode there is no such noticable change. Wondering if anyone has the same experience? Does it mean, in order to enjoy the racing-like exhaust note, you have to turn on the race mode, which sometimes can make the ride too harsh on uneven road?? Please commnet.

Yimn: Congats on your new car..what color combo did you get?

I am not sure about the exhaust note diffrence between the sport and race mode but I believe I read that there is a vaccum line you could disconnect in the exhaust to allow it to be in "race like" mode right from the get go! :) I love the sound of the Stradale!!

    Yimn,

    Congrats on your new Strad.

There has been alot posted about the exhaust of the Stradale.
You can try searching by "exhaust" or I can point you to a thread about
that very subject I started some time ago.
    I hope it helps you.
    It's titled "Stradale sound check"

But I think you'll find the noise will get loader in any mode.
In the standard sport mode the valves seem to open up at around 6500 revs and give out a huge roar. very noticalbe when changing down aggresively. Quite awesome.

At the time of that post I hadn't used race mode as the car was so new.
Now I've reached the 700 mile mark I've treid once or twice just to see.
And basicly in race mode the valves seem to open up that much earlier
around 4000-4500 RPM against 6000-6500 RPM in standard sport mode.

I don't think this feature is different on the US or Euro model.

    Have fun
