Some of you still have not indicated to me how many copies of the calendar you'd like to get. Since I prefer not to have any left overs I'll cut the number of printed copies rather close. So if you haven't indicated your interest, chances are you won't get a copy.

Thanks Bob. I have to say it is a bit puzzling how some folks whose car are even in the calendar don't bother to reserve a calendar or two.

I haven't placed the final order yet and won't do so for another week, but once it is placed it is all a done deal.

    Andreas,

Up my order to 6 copies from 4. Thanks...

You should set up a paypal account and have people send you the money for the number of copies they want. May make it easier for you???

Don't forget me,Andreas. I'll take 4 or 5 for sure. And,in regard to some of the people who are in the calender not even ordering any. I thought, originally, that the calender was going to be of just us guys who DRIVE our cars together. :D Though,it could get boring to some,as it would only be 308's and 328's! (and a 365) I must have misinterpreted that. But thats O.K. with me. All nice cars in it! I think that the "rarely seen" cars get enough accollades already, and it doesn't really matter. It's the 308's and 328's that get passed over at the Ferrari events,usually... "Too 'common' "... But,it's "us guys" who are "out there" driving our cars, and giving the public some occassional glimpses of a Ferrari. That is probably why, when someone see's a 308,or 328,that they KNOW that it's a Ferrari. And,when they see another Ferrari model, just say,"Whats That?" :) ................. ( Except for Bill365  )

    Andreas,

Sorry I haven't responded in a while. We've been busy restoring some old "I Love Lucy" episodes and a few Samuri films, one of which has the music in it that the new film "Kill Bill" uses as its theme music. Anyway, I'll take 4 calendars. Can I give you a credit card now, if not I'll see you at the FCA party and get them then. Probably wont make the FChat party, as my anniversary is that week, and we'll probably find a beach somewhere tropical...

NOW I do. Thanks Jack. BTW: Where is your Avatar? Has to be a Gilles' helmet.

Currently the count of calendars to be printed is at 65. So we're well clear of the 50 price break. Past 50 it doesn't get any cheaper anymore. My final goal is to end up with some silly Ferrari like number as in 79 (like 399 Enzos produced, not 400, no 399).

As long as we can only post one pic at a time I won't go through that pain, however here is the link to old thread where the pics are:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/19907/341880.html?1067609917

Frank, 99 is a nice number, but I will base my final number on the demand I get from you guys. Remember that I have to pay for each calendar first, so I want to be careful.

On a side note: Just today I received the first ten calendars. Those were from cafepress.com where we wanted to print them originally. Then they refused to do that because of legalese. Now they printed a first batch anyway. Go figure. So I got these ten right now. The difference will be that these don't have any of our individual dates. Otherwise they'll be the same. I'm planning on using those on my out of town friends who don't care much to know when we're having a drive here. However if some insane collector amongst you needs to have one of these very limited 10 calendars, let me know. I understand uncurable collectors, being one myself...

No. Iwas just kidding with the 99. Depending on how many are ordered. You could go with the number of years that Ferrari has been making cars . Weren't the first "public production" cars made in 1947? or around there, anyway. So,that would be 57 for 2004. Plus the 10 that you already have. Naturally,if you have more orders, that won't work. But,if you end up with close to that number, could be cool. Or,if you need more, you can count from when Enzo FIRST started out. I saw an ad for a "prototype" car from 1930,For Sale in Hemmings. So,that would be 74 calenders. I don't know exactly what year Enzo started, though.

When Enzo started? Interesting question and probaly no definite answer. He worked for Alfa and was in charge of their racing team. That's where the famous P3 Alfas are from that carry the S/F badges. That was pre WWII. He continued for a while and then after WWII he started his own company with the 125 being the first car ever produced. So there are several starting point options.

Definitely several options. There is an ad in the December Hemmings for a " Ferrari 1930 Scuderia team car".Goes on to say,"This is the numero uno registered competition car of the Scuderia, the car that started it all". "100% Documented,a treasure to any Ferrari collection". $950,000.00 I have absolutely no knowledge about this car. But,if it is documented, must be the real thing. So,that is one date for when Enzo "started out".

    Just for the record:

Emails have been sent out to the stragglers, but I still have not received a reply. However the stragglers are not the persons you just mentioned.

What this tells me is, that some people just don't give a dam. Regardless of whether they have a car in the calendar or not. That doesn't bond too well with me.
