Timeless: 308 series. Those cars look fantastic even 25 years later!
Innovative: Enzo. Even though I'm not a big fan of the "modern" Ferraris, you've got to admire what went into that car.

Timeless IMO means what the public sees : Sooo.. I'd have to say F40

Innovative (same as above ideas) : Testarossa

No question for me it's the 3x8 series, culminating in the 288GTO.

100 years from now, that car will be as revered as ever. Likely even moreso.

    Best!

I'd say almost every Ferrari made is timeless, because of their unique design. Maybe not the Mondial, it's pretty boring to look at. But hey, it's still a Ferrari :)

    <----Loves both the mondial and GT4 :)

I agree that most any Ferrari is timeless and innovative. The ones that stand out the most to me are the 308 and Testarossa. Thanks to movies and television those two cars are the epitome of "Ferrari" according to the public.

For timeless Ferrari design, I would agree, the 308. It's the first Ferrari I was exposed to as a kid, first Ferrari die cast model was a 308, heh :).

But for my favorite Ferrari, I would have to say the 288 GTO. It is just sexy. Very aggresive body lines and stance, it all flows together perfectly. I love it.

I would go with the Daytona even today it doesn't look like a 30+year old or the 308 if you look at the side and then look at a 360 it is obvious they share the same styling ideas.

i'd say almost any of the anniversary cars are innovative, the 288gto, f40, f50, enzo, whatever comes next. as for timeless i'd say the 288gto, f40, and lets not forget ANY of the 250s.

308 will always be the face of Ferrari to the person on the street.

Innovative Design- Tetsarossa Just for the look. ( I agree with William)

I'm with Mark and most others:

The 308 is timeless. What other car from the late 70's doesn't stand out as old? The 308 could be made today, stylewise.

The Testtarossa was the most innovative in looks, at least since the 50's. When they came out, people's jaws dropped. It looked wilder than a Countach to me. Ironic that today the Testarossa is considered dated by many (which is not a knock on it BTW).

The most innovative Ferrari technically I'd say maybe the 355. It brought Ferrari from 'there' to 'here'. Many Ferraris have done that in the past; like the first duel overhead cam engine (whichever model that was); but lately I'd say the 355 was the first 21st century type Ferrari.
