Well, lets see, so far we have one dyno, and numerous magazines tests where a Stradale, does not perform, atleast in acceleration, any better than a stock Modena.
Mark, that graph shows at least Ferrari is the best handling of the three. Not good for Allan and his 1/4 mile runs though.
I think the graph shows that they had a crappy driver at the wheel of the GT3 and Michael Schumacker in the Ferrari.

Just like all of us know that the 400hp or less CS gets its ass whipped by the Ford GT with 500+ horse. I say who cars, big deal. By the way the GT3 numbers are right on, have a friend up here had his dynoed as well and its within +/-2% of the numbers you posted.

Who was driving the GT then? Grandpa Simpson? BTW that is Schumacher, not Macker. And in that test the same driver drove all 3 cars if I remember correctly. Right Mark?
Uh one more thing. The reason why you may think the GT3 is faster is that most GT3s are driven by pro or semi pro drivers. Most CSs are driven by average Joes. You can see the same with the Vipers. Much more HP than my car and yet they are slower around the track. Why? Not because they are slower but because they have Average Joes driving. HP compensates for bad driving but only so much. Also the reason why sometmes a Miata will surprise you in the rear view creaping up on you. Not the car is faster but the driver is. And trust me I have seen those.

A couple years ayear, the day I was at the dyno with my car, there was a 2000 C5 with headers, exhaust, cold air intake and K&N (if i recall correctly). I don't recall the torque, but it made 303 rwhp. I remeber because I beat him by 1 hp The Z06 #s look like a modded car to me
Guys, I have seen a Z06 run in real life, very quick car, but there is NO WAY in stock form it puts out the numbers that were posted, again, the modding of these cars is easy bc they are so inefficient to start with. An exhuast alone can probably gain a solid 20 RWHP. I dont believe that a stock Z06 is going anything below the mid 12's in the quarter or 0-60 faster than maybe, mid to low 4's. Nothing to worry about But still, we need an ENGINE DYNO of the stradale, it HAS to be closer than 25 hp off of the "381 HP" porsche...
The GT3 was a US car. They didn't list the weight in the post, but I believe it is in the ballpark with the CS, perhaps a little heavier. Current R&T lists curb weight at 3160, but I haven't seen actual scale weights. Gary
Guys, it says on the dyno chart of the z06 that it is modded. Stock they put 340-350rwhp. Thats a fact, ive seen it.
Nice to see that Porsche's advertising can be backed up with reality.....the "it's not broken in yet" line just doesn't cut it with me at all. Porsche dyno tests every engine for one hour and those powerplants that do not produce the minimum published HP figure (380 in the case of the GT3 in Canada) are not installed in production cars. When I was the GSM of a Porsche franchise I was told by factory reps that it is quite common for the engines to produce 5-10% more than the published number.
