    i have a delco alternator in steead of bosch from the privious owner i want to go back to the oem bosch on my / 80 308gtsi anybody know the correct bosch part no for the alternator that i need!!! any INFO ON THIS!!! thanks.

    on my 77 308 GTB the Bosch alternator was 0 0120 489 541 542

    richard do you rember how many wires did conect on yours . on my there is 2 wires that conect on the alternator. i call a ferrari dealer and thay give me a bosch part no # 0120489823 can any body verifiy this no!!!!!!

    Ria, you might also check the Ferrari Owner's Site, and look at the parts listings (and diagrams) for guidance. I know the alternator was different for each series as they kept upgrading the output, so a 77 unit would fit, but would probably be lower in output than for a 80.

    I just looked in the Keith Bleumel "Original Ferrari V8"....
    GTSi (usa)Bosch alternator A.120.421.251 65amp
    Bosch voltage regulator 0.192.052.005

    Since there are several errors already noted in this book, don't take it for the "gospel".

    QV's have an 80amp bosch unit, and the 328 85amp.
