    One CD for me...

Mozart's Piano Concertos number 15 and 26 as performed by the Academy of Ancient Music. Why bring it? Because the soloist is playing on Mozart's OWN PIANO! This is the closest thing to going to a concert and watching mozart perform in 1790. Absolutely brilliant recording. Brilliant music too :)

I'd have to think of the others, but here's the short list

    Cheap Thrills - Janis
Allman Bros @ Filmore (the complete set)
Couldn't Stand the Weather - SRV
    Electric Flag - Mike Bloomfield
    Johnny Winter Live
    BB King @ the Apollo
Joni Mitchell - Can't remember the name of the album. It has Woodstock on it.
    Axis by Hendrix
    Layla

There's more, but I gotta run.

DES - good call on System of a Down. Awesome band, unbelievably good singer. "Toxicity" is a kick-a$$ album.

Dale - there is a chance that our record collections are about 97% identical. I think "Woodstock" was on "Ladies of the Canyon".

BTW - "Cheap Thrills" is awesome (Big Brother and the Holding Company)

Oh, and I kinda remember what I was trying to remember...

I used to have a live Otis Redding album. It had Clara Thomas in for a few cuts, "Otis, you're a tramp. You're straight from the Georgia woods." "But ooh Baby, I'm a lover..."

Can't forget my man Otis, and I certaintly cannot forget my main man, Mr. Steve Cropper. Stax it up, bably.

Carbonio, you remind me of my 16-year old son. He drug me to see that 8-mile movie and told me that M&M is the greatest song writer ever. I said, "Greater than Dylan?" "Who's Dylan," he said.

    LMAO...!!!

Yes, he's better than Dylan... At least in my opinion... If some of you folks can't tolerate rap music, go to www.musicmademe.com, look under 'E' and find Eminem; check out any of his albums and click on the songs and read the lyrics... He's quite the artist; a poet in the true sense of the word... Tupac, as well... One day, i hope to write as well as Eminem does...

Mojo, you need to ditch the tranquilizer rock. If it ain't got a back beat, I can't groove it. Seriously, go find a live Otis Redding album. (Otis live at Monterey is a good place to start.) Knock back and few adult beverages and JUMP AGAIN!

ps I need to add Katy Webster to my list. She had a left arm that was a bazooka and a right arm that was a cannon. Man, that woman could sure play the jumping blues.

pps Carbonio et al. You young kids need to get out and shake yer booty. Cause everybody knows that you can't sing da blues till you have pay yer dues...

pink floyd- darkl side of the moon
    sublime- Sublime
Social Distortion- Live at the Roxy
    U2- Best of 1980-`1990
