The fule gauge on my 2000 550 Maranello does not read full when I top pff the tank. Is anybody else running into this problem? Is there a fix?
The Ferrari dealer supposedly replaced something on the fuel warning light system just before I bought the car.

    Terry,

The most common cause is the fuel tank sender unit - part number 168238. To test, there are two wires that go to the tank unit, one controls the low level warning light and the other the guage. By "grounding" these wires one at a time will test the guage. The guage should show full when the guage wire is grounded and the warning light will come on when the other wire is grounded - you will need the ignition on for this test. If this test proves positive then its the sender at fault.
