Searching for an original Saint Gobain windshield OR a used one in good shape. Tinted. Anyone know where to find one in the US? Our customer is into complete originiality of his 1981 308 and trying desperately to avoid us using an aftermarket Swisslamex glass.

    TIA

Thanks, J Grande, but I think we need to look in the US to avoid prohibitive shipping costs. I know Dennis McCann lists them on his website - for $1500 or so (ouch).

Anyone know of a wrecked 308 (in the US) with a great windshield??

I know what you mean, I'm looking for a windshield for a 308 GT4, seems the only place is the UK. Lo-Can said they had one in stock but it was over $1000US + shipping and that was aftermarket. For the same price I can get one from the UK and it is original and will fit properly.

Thanks, Bert. Deutsche eBay may be the way to go. I suppose it doesn't matter whether you pay the import/shipping fees up front or embedded in the cost of a US windshield. Yes, apparently Sekurit produced the windshield for this vintage 308. We'll save that url.

    Thanks very much - Sandy
