My brother in Hong Kong sent me this picture. Not sure if this is for real, but it does not look like a Photoshop job. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very cool! Although to be honest, I think it might be a photoshop. Look at the lights on top. It doesnt look like the angle of hte lights matches the angle of the car in the photo...and the lights are a bit too blurry too. I would hate to be in a high speed pursuit with one of those though Edit: On second thought, it does look like a real photo. Might be some sort of promotional vehicle for the police or something.
Oh, my brother also send this Police Interceptor from China This one is definately NOT photoshopped. Image Unavailable, Please Login
LOL! Good one, Stewart! The highway patrol in Taiwan uses BMW M5's. Maybe it's time for China to do some upgrading...
what about this famous cop chaser? too bad it never caught much due to those blasted kids. Image Unavailable, Please Login
the lights on top appear to be photoshopped. why would they even put lights on top of the car when they could just mount them inside. itd be cheaper and produce less weight and drag. could be photoshopped but who knows.
Yep, although most people seem to bag them out. Technically it is a HSV ... but same thing I guess. That car was on loan to the police by HSV for a while, even the custom plates are owned by HSV. The car was used extensively on the street however, I have driven behind it and in front of it, seen a couple of people pulled over by it (Aussie police - especially Vic's are very harse) and I have also looked inside it and over it a bit when it was parked in North Melbourne down the road from my old work one day. The car (I believe) was stationed in St. Kilda however I saw it in my area a whole lot (Brunswick) and there is a police station there where I saw it once as well).
Gary, are you serious? Is that 328 for real? If so,is it still in service? GTS right? Cool pic thanks. Frankie.
Frankie, Yes, as far as I know that 328 photo is real. It was posted by someone on the FerrariList a few years ago. The 328 was a drug seizer car and was being used for the police dept's DARE program.
