End of Make-A-Wish view thread

All I can say is this thread was AWESOME! I am closing the books on my business for '03 today. I factored the average daily view count and added three days to the 5660 view count I saw this morning. The total check is for $1,887.50 that will go in the mail today.

Peters, congratulations...! You are the man for doing something like this for Make A Wish and for all the kids that you're going to help... There should be a FerrariChat page in your honor... You are a real class act and i'm honored to know you...

 

The cool thing with MAW is that their overhead is about 20%. This is VERY low for a large organization Vs many that are 50% plus! They really do good!

 

A few people on here support or in some way work with Make A Wish and i've heard nothing but good things about them...

 

Few F-chatters know that one our own, Mandy Reimert, is in charge of fund raising for the Houston chapter of M-A-W. She also drives a 360 Challenge car..............

Great call on your part to put the donation toward M-A-W. Before Tony Nevotti's (sales manager at FoDallas) daughter Allison passed, M-A-W had contacted him on setting up a wish for her. I do not know if they had opportunity to take advantage it. They help so many kids...........now you have helped them help more!!!!

 

Wow Peter, wish there were more folks like you out there. I'd like to toast a libation with you sometime.

Peter, you're a role model for us all... Quite a stand up fellow, that's for sure... We can all learn from your altruism... i wonder if Make A Wish is hiring... Hmmm...

 

Hell, all I did was write the check. Its the FChat members that made it happen!

 

One of our members that I will not name (he sells batteries) dropped me an email stating he wants to send an additional check to MAW (what a guy!). Here is the MAW address I sent the check to:
