    Considering a factory rollcage. Anyone have any experience
    on installation,cost or just plain advise?

    Make sure its padded w closed cell padding so you dont knock yourself out or worse if your head hits it in a crash

    if it's still street driven, i don't suggest you get a cage b/c even if it's padded and you bonk your head againts it, it's going to hurt you, bad. i suggest you stick with a rollbar for the time being; i.e., no bars along the roof, nor a pillar. where are you located? do you want a custom cage?

    I had a factory one in my 996 TT and it was padded not wrapped in leather but still looked good.

    I saw one in Andrea de Adamich's 575, the Ferrari Pilota course instructor, all wrapped in leather, beautiful.

    The roll bar is the way to go. That will protect you enough in a roll over. Side bars just really needed for a T-bone. Anything forward of the roll bar will just make your car more deadly on the street without a helmet on.
