Four years ago I spent 4 days in Las Vegas. It was mid July and it was raining the 4 days, so much that there were floods. No surprise, they were not ready fo that :)

Anyway, it was even worst, the rain was even evaporating before reaching the floor, and the Bulevard was like a Giant Sauna!!!

    Happy New Year!!!!

    - Julio.

Sure there's snow in Nevada - it's usually in Reno, though...

Trippy year for Vegas area - earlier in '03 there were some incredible flash floods.

For Vegas this is a major blizzard, they probably called a snow day.

There's a ski area right outside of Vegas. It's over 10,000 feet though.

That picture is in the parking lot of Dream Car Rentals. I rented that F355 Spider.

it does snow once and a blue moon.. even long that it really sticks to the ground. Too bad the drivers out here suck even on dry pavement let along snowy/icey streets

Mt. Charleston... Many years ago I was up there skiing while my parents were gambling away down in Vegas. I wasn't old enough to gamble at that time, so what else is there to do in Vegas?... ;-)

I've/we've been in Vegas many times over the years and I've seen it snow in Reno and in the desert outside of Vegas... Never in the city though, so I suppose this is the first time.

Shouldn't this thread be in Off-Topic (or does the snow on the Ferraris in that pic count)?
