Curious what others thought of the movie. I have to admit, while I couldn't really think of any other way to end it, I'm not exactly totally pleased / convinced.

    What did you guys think?

The first Matrix was really good. The second one was really bad. The reviews say this one is even worse. I am not planning on seeing it till it's out on video.

I would say this is materially better than the 2nd, but the first was the original mindf*ck.

I agree, tough to top the first. I liked the second and third, just not to the same degree as the first.

The third had some nice fight scenes, but the bottom line for me was:

more kung fu, less space ships.

Still a cool flick compared to most of the stuff out there.

I had some mixed emotions about the 3rd, but thought they had some very cool and original concepts thrown into it. I like everyone loved the first, and really liked the 2nd too. I definitely couldn't predict the ending, which was something very unique these days.

I'm a bit dissapointed. It was a great story, I just wish it was told better and the ending was different. The Matrix was the most interesting thing I ever saw, but Reloaded was my favorite.

Nice thumbnail, do you have a big picture like that? That would make a sweet desktop background. Email it to me: auraraptor at msn.com (@ where the at is)

I like the scene in the first Matrix movie where Neo is shooting in the
building lobby with Trinity. The scene in question has Neo shooting a
Skorpion Czech Machine Pistol. The same scene shifts to the empty
shells falling at his feet. They are rifle shells falling at his feet ! Oops.

I have not seen the third series yet. The first movie was excellent.

Carrie-Anne Moss looks best in the first movie.

I thought the third one sucked. I cannot believe how much they are trying to milk the Matrix for all it is worth. The first one was good, a movie that made people think. The second one was good, not the story, but mostly the action. The third one was all around bad. I wish my expectations for the movie were a lot lower, then I would not be so mad about wasting 2 hours and $8 to see it. For all of you that have not seen it, save your money and your time. Watch it when it comes out on DVD and you have a few different sittings to complete the movie.

I liked the third movie, not as much as the first, but it's a different movie altogether: the theme, the subject and the style are different - much more epic, grand and philosophical rather than the enclosed, stylish world of the first movie.

Frankly, I didn't see any other way it could end other than following the course it did, getting bigger and bigger in the conflict (not to say I predicted all of the twists, though).

As an action movie it was alright but the ending was rather disappointing.
