We all had a great time today on our New Year's Fun Run (put together by TRE Motorsports). Most cars were Porsches, but there were a few Ferraris (three red carb'ed 308s too!). Jay Leno even stopped by driving something really huge and noisy!

Nice! Too bad about the off-roaders - shame on the insecure Viper driver.

Did you see the picture of it in the ditch!?! Someone said Jay's was a 16-cylinder? Not sure - I didn't see it too clearly...

Thanks Wayne for the great pics of an awesome time. I'm jealous of you no-snow types.

P.S. That yellow "thing" that started out as a 911 SC Targa (I think?) What is it supposed to be?

Leno's car looks like something built by the Blastolene Brothers. See www.blastolene.com

Wayne, tell the guy with the tangerine 911 that I'll buy his car in a heartbeat if it has an AC. I used to have one just like it in a Targa (1973.5) that had less than 20K original miles. Man, I loved that car. Just got too hot here in Texas w/o an AC. And I couldn't justify tearing up the original interior to install an after market AC. So I, uh, I, well, I'm embarrassed to say that I sold it. I really do miss that car. Up to 90 MPH, it was almost more fun than the law allows.

    Heartbroken in Tejas.

In one of the photos Jay's car is described as being a 1915 Hispano-Suiza with a 18.5L aero V-8.
    Got Torque? :)

    I did a little research, I think it's more like 3-4 liters, not 18.5...

    But I could be wrong...

    :)
