I wonder why they would need a 625bhp car to compete with a 500bhp Ford GT... methinks they know something the "experts" on here regarding acceleration and bench racing don't.

I think its fabulous that the domestics are already feeling threatened by the Ford GT and it hasn't even hit the showrooms yet. It could be a marketing ploy, or their bid to remain on the top of the domestic sports car heap.

Either way, they aren't sitting completely idle and thats marvelous for us! Styling, build quality, and performance are making big jumps. With aftermarket bolt on mods, the Z06's are already nasty. Doing the same to the devil would be quite something!!
