What do we know about this yellow 328GTS with an aluminum body/ red interior with daytona seats? Is there a dual zone climate system option?
There was a lot of discussion about this car a couple of months ago. Do a search on the old list and you should find out plenty. All 328's have separate heat/vent options, but the AC is 'mono'.
Craig: We currently have that car for sale. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. 630.231.3400
Hey Michael, You may want to post some pictures on here of that car to show everyone. That was the first 328 i sat in before buying my black one... Wanted to see if i would fit in it.... No problem....
Thanks... I missed that thread originally. It can be seen here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2441550299&category=6212
It's unique and beautiful. $52K sounds reasonable if major service done recently and car checks out as described.
I recall the discussion about this vehicle - the main 'problem' issue with this car was the engine mods that were performed....creating a 'high-strung' engine that was NOT factory, and required sources in England to tune and troubleshoot. If you can stand the interior color choices, and are VERY handy with wrenches, this looks viable. I recall the original asking prices for this car were in the neighborhood of $75K, I see it has come down considerably.....
I recall this conversation too... went back and searched the archives. Here it is (remember, this is the old format so you have to start at the bottom up!): http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/251280/300854.html
The car has been for sale for a long time, I met the owner and saw the car about 4 yrs. ago, and it was for sale then! I think the only potential buyer would be a collector, not a 'driver'. The only thing to justify its price, is its uniqueness. It looks like any other 328, ceptin for the Daytona seats!
