First post in the new forums, here goes... Looking forward to seeing everyone at Moroso this weekend. I plan to be there first thing Friday morning for photo shoot with Enzo, 288 GTO, F40 and F50 at 8AM and staying through the day. Dont know if I'll be there for Saturday or not but we'll see. For a club event, usually one day will suffice. BHW
Sindo, I will be there both days but only driving Saturday. Joan will be there on Saturday for a few hours. See you then.
Looks like I will get out there early Saturday and may run Sunday with SAFE if I can find someone to drive my tires up there Otherwise I will make it only for Saturday.
Praying for dry weather for the weekend............starting with Friday!! As far as I can remember the FCA has never been rained out for an event. Hope their luck continues! Keep your fingers crossed.
I will come Saturday from what it looks like right now. Will also make the Sunday SAFE event and Marion is with me both days. We should hook up for dinner. Sindo and Gabi, Paulie and Joan (sp?) William is coming and maybe bringing his girlfriend. Supposedly it look s good for the weekend. Hope to get some nice dry time with slicks to see if I can get the tire pressure right this time.
Where the hell is Carlos and Ken???? Are you coming over Robin? Where are all the other Florida guys?
Nope.. I just got in from DC, and now I'm off to Newport Beach, CA for the weekend. Looks like I'm gonna miss out on this one. There's something going on next weekend though isn't there??? I'll have to work that into my schedule -R
Robin, next weekend is track time in Moroso but nothing Ferrari related. Just open track. Still a good thing When you go over to Newport Beach you have to hook up with the LA guys. A bunch of great guys. Byron is going to check out a 348Spider I am buying. They have mechanical inspection today and he will have a visual tomorrow and pay the guy.
Got some good track time Saturday with the Ferrari guys, had a great time with Sindo and Gabi in the eve and had a great time with the SAFE group on Sunday. Drove my rain tires into the ground Sat morning sessions and my slicks are pretty much gone as well now. Its all good
Just a one day deal for me unfortunately. Friday was good, nice to see the hard core guys running and the weather was cooperative but what was up with the bees all over the place? Paul and I waited until late Friday afternoon for the Enzo to arrive with the Stradale on the Shelton truck. I hung around until 3:30PM and told Debbie right before I left "Watch, I will get two miles down the highway here and the truck will pass me on the way to the track". Sure enough, thats exactly what happened. Maybe it will work out next time. New FCA president Jeff McKee is a good guy with a really nice Vanquish! Photos from Friday coming soon. BHW
