Rob: You are selling this site short by not having an on-line store. You can make a few bucks with the following items:

    1) FChat polo shirts
    2) FChat coffee Mugs
    3) Ball caps
    4) Duffel bags
    5) Signed photos of DES
    6) Key rings
    7) Pens (nice ones)
    8) T-Shirts
    9) Boxers
    10) At least one 'chick' item that the guys would buy for their lady's.
    11) FChat Sponsor's T-Shirts (Get the sponsors to chip in).

I would buy a ball cap and a polo in a heartbeat if they were available on this site. Any thoughts?

All: What else could be added?

    Autographed picture of DES! LOL

Reminds me of the Simpson's...Comic book guy "This is a rare photo of Sean Connery signed by Roger Moore!"

I'll take a photo of DES signed by Bruce!

I think that there should be pins available(among other stuff) so that you can identify others at events.

You could design and have mousemats made, we did this for our forums. I can show you the picture if you like.

Variety of F-Car snowdomes so drivers can actually say they've been in the sno- no, wait... I mean - so they can see cars that are in storage. Yeah, that's it...

    Lambo-lighters for those oh-so-pesky flamewars.

    F-Chat cufflinks.

How about a FC patch for our driving suits? I was thinking of an "In memory of Jens and Amar" patch as well.

I think this new idea I have in the works will be perfect.

    1) Same company I used for the FC Race Team stuff and the embroidery was very high quality and company easy to work with.
    2) Huge selection of base products to work with. Check out everything that is available... http://www.hipeak.com/brands_cats.html
    3) I hate doing fulfillment stuff (that's too hands on for this virtual guy). They are going to create an online store for me and handle everything from the order to shipping. I just have to pay for one item of each product I want to sell (for the online catalog pic).

We'll start kinda small, but here's my list so far, please give your advice...

    1) High Quality FC Polo (same brand as FC Race Team)
    2) High Quality FC t-shirt (same brand as FC Race Team)
    3) Light jacket
    4) High Quality cap

    What else?

Might I suggest some graphics work on the FerrariChat.com logo?

Or at least an inclusion of a prancing horse/bonnet badge type logo? I'm sure there's trademark/copyright concerns here.

Rob have you asked FNA whether you could use the Ferrari and Horse logos? I'm sure if they make it an issue an owners email campaign from f-chatters might help *influence* them.

i think a FerrariChat pin of some sort - something very distinct and unique - is a great idea...! At events, i often wonder if someone has heard of or even been on FerrariChat and, if we all had little pins we could wear, it would be a great way of identifying other people... Also, if the pins can be mass-produced for a reasonable amount of money, maybe if and when this becomes a pay site, you could give them to people upon registration...

Hats, shirts, mugs, mousepads, key chains, etc. that stuff is all well and good and i have no problem with it, it just sounds like the inventory of every other website on the internet... (not that that would keep me from buying stuff:D)... License plate frames was a good idea, although i don't know the cost of something like that... An on-line store would be great... Would members be able to sell stuff through it...? Like, let's say, Ferrari models, paraphernalia, etc. that they want to get rid of...? Just wondering...

    One thing's for certain, though...

...NO PICTURES OF DES, SIGNED OR OTHERWISE...!!!

Yea, using the horsey would be a no no. Matt Lemus sent FNA a letter for FC's behalf last year, I never heard the result.

With Matt, you don't know anything for sure. :) When the first batch of FC Race Team shirts showed up at my house I knew he had sent them for sure.

    Hey DES

Why don't you design the PIN ? Since you cannot use a horsey, it would be a challenge and you have some design and drawing skills..., no?
