We're a week out from the Second Monday karting event. Who's going to be there?

I will, though I don't know about the car

The turnout is starting to build up again. We had in order of appearance...

    Rob
    Ron
    Tillman
    Jayson
    Jim
    Jano
    Joseph & Meagan (sp?)
    Sean, Sean's brother & friends
    Greg Scott

At least the karts were charged this time, but quality is still questionable and timing was worthless. Greg & I ran into a classmate from Brookhaven autotech (that's where Greg & I met) that just started yesterday. So between the new hires and the Panoz mechanics helping out I hope they make some improvements.

Sorry Ron for hitting you hard in the last race, hopefully you weren't too sore. I think that's the only hard impact I had. Overall, I think we're all better and more controlled drivers than before.

That kid in the sleeveless shirt was good, but much of it was his ringer kart. I got that one in the last race and it handled and braked better than anything out there. Jaysons and Tillmans karts still pulled faster than it in the straights, but this kart otherwise was the best I've ever driven.

I hope everyone had a good time at Humperdinks.

The carts continue to amaze me. I'm glad to see they're working on them, but I still can't believe the condition some of them are in. I was also surpised by all the chassis they had stacked up against the wall. I wonder if that's all the carts they used to get parts for the few running carts they have now?

The cart I had in the last race had the tire coming off! It would slide to one side of the rim or the other, depending on which way I was turning. If there hadn't been a 'fender' on the outside, it would've come off completely.

Rob, Dinks wasn't the same without you.

That was a pretty good t-bone Rob. Good thing I won't be in front of you in the RX7 (for a while). My neck was already stiff from some other impact, so can't blame that one on you.

Funny as hell, my last car was dragging the transponder behind it on the track. They still have a lot of work to do to get those cars in shape. If they'd just tighten all the nuts and bolts it would be a good head start. And fresh tires when the old ones turn to stone.
