The finished product...
Des you are the man that is awesome!!! Can I buy one? I would pick one up if I could. Let me know. Erik
No... ...but if you tell me which one you'd like, you're more than welcome to it... i'll matt it, frame it and it's yours... i don't know how often you see Gus; i could give it to him to give to you or i could just mail it out to you... If i mail it, i won't even be near a post office until next business week... Let me know...
DES you are the man. Whatever is easier for you to do. I see Gus every time I stop by the shore and he is moving up here soon so let me know what is easier. The picture of him behind the wheel. I must have seen the photo in a million books it is awesome. Yeah DES. Erik
Des, is it really your work? that's really wonderful! Well, I've never seen Enzo alive, but I think that pictures are really surprising.... really good job Des
The second Tazio in the "Tazio Nuvolari..." thread took me two hours... The first one in that thread took me, more or less, around the same amount of time... The one above took me longer... i started about two or so weeks ago, then stopped; then, Saturday, i started again, putting in the other two pictures of Enzo and then finishing off the first one (everything inside the steering wheel)... A lot of random breaks with that picture... i do whatever my mind and hand tell me... Erik, i won't be able to frame it until this weekend, possibly Monday, so after that's done, we'll figure out the quickest way to get this thing to you... Carreaper, i don't think i could sell them, although you never know... When i was in high school, i sold two of my self portraits (kinda creepy when you think about it)... What would really be an honor is to have different pictures hanging up in dealerships throughout the country... Wow, that would be cool... Thanks, Tyler... Pat, yes, that's really my work... i'm flattered that these got this many responses... It's just a hobby, really... Before a month ago, i hadn't touched a pencil to paper in years... i'd like to do a whole "set", now... Different pictures of all of Enzo's drivers... All of Ferrari's drivers, period... Schumacher, etc....
Wow, thats really great work! I want one too! Sell them in Forza, Carbon. Thats the way to earn your Ferrari. With your writing & artistic style, you will go far.
Thanks, William... i'm not sure i want to sell them (although i don't hate money, by any means), but i'd LOVE to have different pictures hanging up in different dealerships around the country... Maybe get some big collectors to "pick one up" for their collections... Would eventually like to render enough that everyone who wants one could have one... Have different pictures in peoples' garages all over the world... That would be cool... Maybe selling them IS an angle... But how much would you pay for one of these... Obviously one of the Tazio pictures isn't worth the paper it was drawn on since the guy looks more like an older Beavis than Tazio Nuvolari, but what about the others...? Anyone...?
I am going to hang it behind my computer next to this framed picture of a 356. I am going to move the 356 over so they are both flanking the computer. Here is a picture. DES will this be signed and 1/1? Erik Image Unavailable, Please Login
Des I am surprised you didn't draw an ENZO picture yet the car not the man. Have you done one? or you don't do cars? just wondering Erik
