Hey all... Now that the holidays are over, I can get back to sorting and posting my Ferrari pics. Let's start with these..... A long while back I worked in a local mall's medical center, and lo and behold, a flatbed pulls up one morning with this littel beauty on it. The fellow helping to unload it, mentioned that this was the first F40 in Toronto, if not Canada..... Anybody with any insight to this......was this the car that was badly damaged at Mosport by the owner ? No s/n I'm afraid, but here are 13 pics while the car was on display, and being unloaded. Enjoy ....!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
That car belongs to Remo Feri. He's part owner of Ferrari of Ontario. You can see the car at the dealership. Though it was never licenced for the street. There are a few F-40's in Canada. 4 that I know of in the Toronto aera. There is only one or 2 that went through the conversions up to Canadian specs to allow for street driving when they were frist brought in the country. The one fellow who has a streetable one also owns an Enzo.
Whats with the rear valence? I've never seen one shaped the way this one is around the exhaust outlets. Usually the bottom pan is enclosed.
OMG is that in bayview village? i dun think taht is the first f40 in toronto/canada i seen 2 f-40 on the road, like couple of yrs ago
Hey all ; Yes, it was Bayview Village, and these were taken a long time ago..I can't remember exactly when, but at least 10 years ago..... ..trust me, I have a lot of pics to go through......from the last 20 years or so .....many more to come.. hps
The right side mirror seems to be missing as well. It also looks like the interior may be modified a bit.
That is in fact Remo Feri's F40. It was parked on the second floor of his showroom for years. He usually donates it every year to the auto show. That's about the most daylight that car would see. When it was stationary it used to wear European plates. It was not street legal in Canada as far as I know. Here is another shot of the car as it was parked in Remo's showroom:
I never said he still had possession of it.. All I said was to confirm that it WAS his car. I dont know if it still is.. I haven't seen him in a while so I dont know for sure. The pic I posted is of the car as it sat in his showroom.
Interesting car...... Lexan side windows. My car's side mirrors attach to the doors, not up by the front of the window. Also, my rear window has two rows of five wider air vents and then two small ones side by side at the bottom. My car is a 92 US. It also has red inner door panels ??? and the screens are missing from the front brake ducts and radiator opening. Is this an early model or Euro thing? Rick
The car in this link is not the same car being unloaded in the first group of pictures. If it is, the rear hatch and doors have been changed. Rick
