    Hi.

I might in the near future be buying a house in Spain.
I wonder if anyone could share their experiences with Ferrari dealers i Spain ?

Any experience with the service/repairs of Ferraris in Mallorca ?
If there is a workshop in Mallorca that is.
Any info would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Welcome to this forum Anders,

yes the official distributor of Ferrari, Testarossa Cars SA, has a dealership in Balear Islands. What I do not know is if they have a garage. Call them I am sure that they speak German, they should... almot 50% of the island is German property.

This is the info of the 2 Ferrari dealers that I have found there, both in Palma de Mallorca:

    TESTAROSSA CARS, S.A.
Paseo Marítimo nº 37 07012 - Palma de Mallorca
    Telephone: 971 22 09 41

    MEDIAUTO, S.A.
Gran Vía Asima nº 4 Pol. Ind. Son Castelló 07009 - Palma de Mallorca
    Telephone: 971 02 20 22 Fax: 971 02 20 44

    I hope this helps.

    - Julio

Yes those are some, there are some more too, but not in Mallorca.

I might misunderstood the question. In my opinion the best one in Madrid, Maranello Rosso.

Here is a link to the Spain Ferrari services in very nice page from a Ferrari fan in Spain, Fede Ferrari Col.leccio

It also part of a Ferrari Web Ring, and there are some interesting pages there.

    Julio,
no there was no misunderstanding. The question was just about Spain. I was the one who started to ask for more infos about my dream-island Mallorca.
I still appreciate any infos about Ferrari / Mallorca.
Yes, like I mentioned in a few other threads; we are realy serious looking forward to move within the next few years to Mallorca (incl. our store & family).

    Why Mallorca!

I mean it is nice, but for a Ferrari fan is going to get a bit boring. I mean you will be at the other end of the Island before you hit 160 km/h.

And to get other rides you will have to put the car in a boat to go to France, Spain or Italy. Hmmm, although Corsica will be pretty close, nice mountain roads there.

Marbella has a pretty similar weather, a little bit sunnier, a significant German comunity, and you have the whole Iberian Peninsula to drive.

    - Just an opinion.

    Julio,
we have been looking around the whole world since several years to find a real-estate for the future. We don`t want to live any longer in Germany....lots of reason and too much too list. We have searched over Greece, Italy, Spain, France, Swiss and also in the USA /California.
We love the Spain way of live, the food (especially sea-food) and Mallorca --NOT Ballermann-- is an awesome great location and place to live. We have many friends (from the music industry/business) over there who are living in Mallorca since a few years. Its pretty close to Germany; just 1 hour trip and sure I will take my Ferrari with me. I see no problem to ship the Ferrari for a trip with the ferry to Spain or France. Its the way of live, sun and of course business I can run there. I hate those cold, cloudy, rainy, snowy days in Winter. I love the feeling of mostly summer like Mallorca...and a little bit winter also.
Look over here in Germany: Everybody seems to be in a rush the whole day....no reason! Everybody is running around with a depressiv face and no smiling.

Mhmmmmm Trevi, YOU should know me?!?
Serious? I´m on the jump, its no problem to me and the weather here sucks so badly....why not?
I would like to fly down and rent a car; to be honest I don`t drive with the testa on snow, ice and salt streets.
I have realy time enough - I have canceled my Los Angeles business trip
for this week`cause the US$ drops too much down and it doesn`t worth it to travell over. So time enough, here we go??????

....yes, I know Trevi. And vacation starts up for you with 6 weeks or more.
It was just a serious thought in those cold days; maybe I will fly with my wife the next few weeks for a weekend trip to Marbella.
Are there any places/citys in Andalusia you can recommend?

Thank you so much Alfredo, Julio, Trevi!

I see that I know so less about Spain. There are realy more great places than just Mallorca & Marbella.
I`m not in a rush and have time enough (told you the next few years) and I`m far away from a final decision after all your helpful input.
Well, we will travel to some of those great places for a 3-4 days weekend trip and will see.
Our first thought was of course the problem with the language...we both don`t speak any spain word. So we thought to go to Mallorca or Marbella `cause we never have had any problems speaking German or English there....I`m too old to learn one more language fluent;-)

We also decided NOT to buy on the first day!
The way we are looking for to realize our dream could be:
Longtime rental for 1 year and after this time, when everything went on the right way, buying the house.
