    Tony,

Yep, I would like to be in attendance, but my Fcar will be a bit wank (one of the few swear words that this board does not replace!) on such a long journey, so unless I can ponce a ride I will have to cope with the embarassment of turning up in a civilian vehicle!

chaps I will probably be organising another day at brunters in march if you fancy it, will have electronic timing etc, very low key and very non "organised" ie, people telling you what to do.

Will mainly be Porsches, F Cars, TVR's and hi spec audis, nobles, ultimas.

that might be a better day than 29th for all of us particularly with the timing equipment :)

I've organised 2 so far, Paul from here came along and seemed to enjoy himself :D

We tend to begin the high speed runs at about 9.30 running 2 cars in tandem and recording (electronic & therefore proper)speeds as speedos can be a fair way off at 180ish! We press on until lunchtime, you should get around 6-8 runs before lunch.

Brief break ( I get a burger van in for convenience) then after lunch we do some rolling start sprints (20mph or so, to avoid cooking clutches)over about a mile to get some performance comparisons and settle some scores ;)

then back to the high speed runs, after each run you get a good blast around the bends back to the waiting area where you can see the other cars, its good fun.

Usual cost is about £150 for the whole day, this includes speed timing equipment, speed display boards, as many drivers as you wish, passenger rides and general banter & fun.

So far we've had 996 Turbos, modified 993 Turbos, 964 Turbo 2's, Ferrari 360's, 355's, 348's, a 456GT, a Diablo, 6 Nobles, Ultimas, Audi RS4's, RS2's and RS6's, an elise, TVR Cerbera, TuscanS, T350, Griffith, Chimeara, Lotus Carlton, BMW M3's, Maserati 3200GT's....so a fairly wide spread which makes for great comparisons, everyone is up for some good (safe) fun, let me know if you are interested, cheers.

Sorry I cannot do the 21st March.
I'm racing the Vee at Donington on that day.

I can feel a win coming on already.
    How's that for optimism!!!!!

I have lost track of all the posts about this weekend (29th). Is anything planned? If not does anyone fancy a Hertfordshire spin? There is a nice pub we could meet at called Moor Mills in Bricket Wood, close to junction 6 M1 or junction 20 M25, and some nice roads around the area.
