    Julio,
    I understand you total!!!!
I have had the same problem last year.
I didn`t want to sell my beloved 308 GTSi QV but both cars are too expensive for maintenance and I can only drive one car in a time.
Yes, now I miss my 308. But the testarossa is just to die for and this was the right solution!!!! Man, nothing and I sowre you nothing compares to a 12 cylinder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    GO FOR IT!

    Good Luck
    Wolfgang

Please, you are free to draw it.

It is 328 with an air intake before the back wheels, grids of the ventilation the back top and an elevation in the back hood.

I do not know, if I have written it well.

    Greetings

    Alfredo.

    Yes Alfredo!
It was built for the italian market only.
Until 1990 here in Italy we had expensive taxes for luxury goods (yachts, cars over 2000 cubic capacity, etc...), so Enzo Ferrari, in 1979, decided to start the production of 2000 cubic capacity cars .....but they hadn't enough HP for traditional Ferrari standards (and for customers' tastes), so Ferrari started increasing HP with the Turbo engines. The GTB/GTS Turbo Intercooler was the last evolution of this kind of cars (introduced in 1986, one year after the introduction of the 328 model). They are the same of the 328 (is exactly the same car!!!) except the engine, the NACA air ducts on the rear fenders (the Pininfarina badge was moved behind the rear wheel because there was no space for the NACA) and the rear badges. The interiors are exactly the same apart an additional instrument (indicator for the turbo) between the tachometer and the revcounter.
The GTB/GTS Turbo Intercooler had 254 HP (vs 270 of the 328) and the top speed was 250 km/h (vs 263 of the 328).
It was a little nervous to drive because the turbo wasn't so progressive as Ferrari claimed. Personally I prefer my 328 also if, estetically, I like very much the Naca ducts on the fenders.
It is a rare car (if compared with the 328), but I don't believe the value will raise so much in the next years. The best place (and easiest) to buy one of them is here in Italy, were you can pay much less than for a 328.
    Take care
    Vittorio

For comparable cars (same year, same general conditions) the average difference is in region of 15%. At least this is what I experienced last year looking for my car. At the end I bought a 328, even if more expensive.

    Ciao

    Vittorio and Eugenio,

In 1986, the cost of 328 in Italy was 91.425.000 Libras and cost of GTS Turbo was 78.116.000 Libras, a 16% less.

It is necessary to consider that leaves from that difference were taxes, in the used cars that difference of taxes repels less.

It is not strange, that the quotation of it, follows thus in Italy, a 16% less.

I have comparative in Italian language "328 versus GTSTurbo" of the magazine "Quattroroute" of "Giugno 1986" 3.18 MB format pdf.
If you want, I can send by email.

    Greetings

    Alfredo.

The official 2004 prices, here in Italy, are (from "Ruoteclassiche"):

    1986-1989 GTS Turbo intercooler............... 28.000 €
    1985-1989 328 GTS ................................34.000 €

These prices are referred to cars in kept in original and very good conditions (engine, body panels, low kms, etc...).
For mint conditions' cars the price can grow up of, at least, a 30%.
For GTB model the price is lower of a 10%.
I hope that this will help.

    Vittorio

I thank for the information, Vittorio.

The theoretical valuation not always is the real valuation, the real valuation is the one that fixes the market.

Based on the information available in the web http://asm6.autosupermarket.it/listaASM.lasso , the average price of 328 is +-37.750 € and the one of 208 is +-32.722 €

In Italy, there is a greater supply of 208 than of 328, I suppose that to the very similar being and but cheap, they were sold but.
