Just curious - It was brought up in another thread - I have never seen one.
Are you talking about the "512 M" (the 70s race car) or the "F512 M", the last version of the Testarossa? Regarding the last one, there certainly are cars in blue ....
According to Red Headed, there seem to be four or five 512Ms that had a blue exterior - I suppose that these are the rarest ones of all... http://www.red-headed.com/index2.html
Wow, according to the site, there were 5 blue colors available : Azzurro Hyperion Blu Sebring Azzurro Monaco Blu Swaters Blu Le Mans Would love to see some pics!
Hi! There are indeed several colours of blue listed on my website (www.red-headed.com), but I don't know if those colours were indeed ordered. My current F512 M register has info about 312 cars, out of a total of 501. So, a lot of cars are still unknown, just like the colours they have. But if you care, take a look at this link. Be prepared for the large number of Ferraris on this picture, as it is from a meeting in Japan. Lots of "strange" Ferraris over there! But as you can see: the car above the light blue 550 Maranello (duh!), is a dark blue F512 M. http://www.ferrariforum.net/members/viewphoto.php?id=1819 Unfortunately, I don't have more pictures yet of blue F512 Ms ...
Cool picture - What do you think that is above the red F40 on the right? Almost looks like a Koenig Blue TR?? Looks maybe like a Koenig white TR next to it.
Yes, red-headed is my website. Just take a look at my avatar And I think you're right about the two Testarossa Koenig Competition II cars, one in dark blue and one in white. Impressive, isn't it! I really need to go to Japan next year .... really ....
Indeed there is one here in Syndey Australia. it is owned by a club member. It's very dark blue. Apparently it's for sale.
Your avatar - Ahhh yes - Damn I'm slow! lol Great site!! Yes - That meet in Japan looks fantastic - If you go, I'm sure you will fill my appetite for lots of pics!
it would be right hand drive for you though and it would be priced at world market level. In other words, too much.
I've seen Blue F512M in Japanese site. (believe LeMan Blue) It was on sale for about $150K, and had about 20K miles. It was so tempting to buy that car! I want Azzuro F512M!!!
