Although there are far more 355 Spiders and 360 Spiders out there in the world, here in FerrariChat land the most owned Ferrari is... ...the 328 GTS Non-ABS! 20 owners! At least as surprising is the 3-way tie for 2nd place (each with 17 owners): Challenge Stradale 360 Modena 355 Berlinetta As popular as the spiders of those models are, its surprising that the hard-tops are more owned here; and surprising that we have so many Stradale owners already. FWIW. (Haven't voted your ownership? Vote here: Modern Ferraris, Classic Ferraris, Supercars. Sorry, no Vintage version yet. I'll be unsticking these threads soon... we can periodically bump them to the top to let new members vote.)
360 Modena is officially number two now with 18!! :O Cool little poll, its a bummer that I can't take part in it, yet.
Nice polls... nice results... I like them... But huh?? Ok, I believe the 328 GTS non-ABS is the most owned car here...no problem... but... only 20??? Out of about 6000 users? That surprises me I guess a lot of people don't want or still have to vote? I wonder what the owner/non-owner ratio is here then? Owner or not... fact is the majority on this site is a true Ferrari addict Greets, Alexander
I wonder, too... I also wonder how many 330 GT owners are here. Perhaps we'll find out when us Vintage guys get a vote!
Isn't it possible with some script or something to scan all the 6000 user profiles in the database for members who cared to fill out the personal Ferrari field? Or copy the table list of members in an excel sheet and with some intelligent formula count the 308, 348, etc. in the personal Ferrari field. I am too busy for that...
Well this thread seemed to spark a lot of people to vote... we now have 289 Ferraris listed as owned by F-Chatters... and after all those additions, the leader is... <drumroll>... ... same as before, the 328 GTS Non-ABS, with 25! But it is only leading by 1 car now... filling out the top 5: 24 = 360 Modena 23 = 355 Berlinetta 20 = Challenge Stradale 19 = 550 Maranello In all there are 125 Modern Ferraris and 150 Classic Ferraris, both numbers not including any of the Super-Ferraris (of which there are 14). If you lump together some models, you get these numbers: 54 = 308's 34 = 328's 20 = 348's 53 = 355's 57 = 360's (if you include the Challenge Stradale) 16 = Mondials 21 = Testarossas (including 512TR and 512M) 26 = 550's/575's I'm unsticking those threads now... we're still missing a 360 Challenge in order to claim all Modern Ferraris... and we're missing many 208 models, the GTB/S Turbos, and the 348 ss tb among the Classic Ferraris. Amazingly, we arguably have complete coverage of the super-Ferraris, with the exception of the F50GT... but considering there's only 3 of those...
... and we're missing many 208 models, the GTB/S Turbos, and the 348 ss tb among the Classic Ferraris. er, well Im sure I voted down for a 208 GTS Turbo! However, that can now be canned, as I have killed the purchase. I just cant seat myself properly in her :(( The silver lining though is I popped into my local specialist the other day just on the off chance..and they have a gorgeous 78 Carbed Rosso/Black leather Boxer in for £36k )))
Can I count my die casts????? I own EVERYTHING if I can count them! LOL Except an Enzo. I don't have an Enzo. Still getting over the disappointment in styling I suppose. I saw one at the Rodeo and started to get it. Bought beer instead. And a vintage cowboy bandana. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Stop stop stop!!! Some misinformation is going around that can hurt our sponsor relationships! First of all, only a small % have participated in the model polls. Here's a more complete list of 328 owners on FerrariChat.com, but still maybe only 50-75% complete. 90-100 FerrariChat.com 328 owners are represented in this list. http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2400 Brian, in the June newsletter I'll try to remember to add a link to the model polls, but then again only about 35% of the users read the newsletter.
Rob: Are you saying that of the people on this chat only about 300 of them actually own the cars? Art
He's saying there are more owners in the membership than those that respond to polls. And Dahr Jamail is lurking, with his new replacement Enzo, but doesn't want to post because we all made fun of his driving skills in the Burning Enzo thread. Heck, Paul Frame is in here too but is busy with the fur lined handcuffs, right now!!! He did sell the F50 though because he needed to pay some people $$$ back!
