i was able to get mine at the local mall and was also disappointed it does look good but there wasn't enough put into it by hotwheels even the stripe is just a sticker and not paint but it will still sit proudly next to my other models

 

Not mine. They changed the front bumper and the rear deck lid properly. The sticker for the stripe sucks... not that its a sticker, but that they didn't trim it properly.

They failed to change the brakes (same size and color as Modena). They failed to change the lower side rocker panel. I haven't pulled it out of the box yet to know what else they got wrong.

 

Ok, I peeled off the stripe sticker, and there seems to be a line painted on the car to align the sticker. Problem is, this fine white line (and a rectangle on the tail,also in white) may be hard to remove without scarring the paint. Any suggestions?
The car looks much better without the stripe IMHO. The lack of a stripe seems to add width to the car.
