Man look what I came across when I was searching for murcielago pictures on google.. http://www.rarecars.org/
That's the first murc replica i've seen, obviously a fake, but it could have looked a whole lot worse.
Man, last time I post one of my Gallardo pictures on the net! I guess if I wanted to make a Gallardo limo that is what it might look like? I have to get photoshop for my computer@!!! Chris
Some replicas are nice though, but many are just crap. But nothing is as low as this yellow cavalier I saw with corvette flags on the back and a Ferrari crest up front.
now THIS is a crapy replica - the ad reads: "...a headturner..." I wonder what he means about that?!??!?!?! I think he means that people will turn AWAY from it! LOL Its a huge ad, so it takes some time to download! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2480711180&category=7251&sspagename=WDVW Paul www.SuperCarCrash.com
That one is not that bad. I like how the Murci had old Camaro lights. Good thinking on Lambos part: saves money.
those replicas are not nearly as bad as some ive seen and to the avg. person, they wouldn't be able to tell the differnece.
replicas and the people who drive them are pathetic with a capital 'p'. the companies that make them should be forcibly shut down.
Really? Tell that to all the Cobra replica drivers out there when they pass your ass. What about the awesome CAV GT40 replicas? The Beck 550 Porsche Spyder? Please, you people don't need to be snobs about it. If you don't like replicas, fine, don't carry on and on about how everyone sucks for driving something they love. Threads of this such are trite.
Auto replicas, fake Gucci's,Counterfeit Oakleys.......Its all the same.A very bad imitation of a Classic.
yes, cav and beck should be put out of business, just like oklies, guci, folex, and louis vutton. i'll admit it's not exactly the same, ford isn't selling gt40's and doesn't lose any money with cav ripping them off (until the ford gt's come out i guess..) and porsche certinly isn't making any more 550 spyders, so it's not stealing from them like say, piracy is stealing from the music and movie industry... but it is stealing from the people who own real gt40's, who own real cobras, who own real porsche 550's...it makes them superficially (which is often official enough) less special. when it comes to high end cars mr ghostrider, uniqueness and exclusivity are definitely factors in a lot of people's minds. snobbery or not, i don't think it's right make a living diminishing that.
