What is a 97 355 spyder with 33k on the clock worth? Major service done, nice car, great stereo upgrades, 3 piece rims otherwise stock. The prices seem all over the place, from high 70's to over 100. I will drive the car so mileage would, in a couple of years be in the mid 40's and I wonder if that would be a hard resale? Thanks in advance for your help here, John

Hey John....just picked up a black/tan 355 spider, 20K, Absolute perfect condition, fresh service/valve job, complete books, records, cross drilled rotors, tubi, challenge grill, tools, cover, brand new tires, 100% stock for $96K for what that's worth.

good luck with the hunt....just be sure to get the leak down done for potential valve problems. Still happened in the '97's.

Blimey thats cheap! Here in the UK, they are going for equivalent minimum 85K dollars (very high mileage) up to 120K dollars for a really good low mileage one with nice extras such as TUBI and upgraded brakes.

Sound like the black/Tan for 96K dollars is a really good buy.

I'm possibly selling mine for 108K (25K miles, rossa with TUBI)

It could be the exchange rate though thats makes US prices look cheap to me.

I'm also in the midst of a search for a 355 Spyder and I've been to Miller Motorcars (Werner) and WWoC (Nick) twice (to both locations) over the past week. While I know that these are retail establishments and they are looking for higher margins than you will find on the private market, they are still much higher than this in what they're asking. In your opinions, what is fair market value for a TDF Blue/Tan 97 Spider with 15k and a fresh service? This is NOT a certified car...but it is a very nice example. MMC has a 99 Pozzi Blue/Sabia with 14K that is Certified and they're also looking for a good deal of money on the car. Any thoughts from you all is much appreciated...as well as suggestions where else to look for the right example (btw, I'm a fan of BLUE). ;-)
